Margaret Cline Harmon
Margaret's life was blessed by the ability to travel to many parts of the USA, Europe and Japan.  Education and travel influences one in many ways, especially in their vision of the world.  From her studies in college she gained an affection for architecture, furniture, and the fine arts.  Her travels were enriched by knowledge gained in the subjects of architecture and fine arts in the classroom and she transferred it to her field experiences.  She enjoys sharing her experiences through her painting.

Margaret finds producing art liberating.  Whether she works directly from a perceived subject, plaine aire, or abstractly, she is most concerned about the overall composition and formal aspects of the work.  Her colors tend to be bright and bold.  Bright colors makes her happy and she aspires to convey that “feeling” to her viewers.

Margaret's goal as a painter is to inspire, not just reproduce a subject on a canvas.  She like her colors bold with subjects drawn with large, generous form.  She wants her original work to touch the inner impulse and passion of her viewers.
